The All Energy Contracting (AEC) team returned home exhausted but happy after two days at the largest energy event in the Southern Hemisphere in Melbourne, All Energy Australia this week.
AEC’s Founder and MD, Steve Urqhuart headed a team of more than 10 from AEC including our New Energy, Power Infrastructure, and New Zealand divisions. Two of the team from OCU Group also joined us for their first All Energy Australia conference, following the UK firm’s investment in AEC in July.
As always, the annual event transforms Melbourne into an Energy Industry honeypot; representatives from all manner of energy generation, distribution, construction and innovation are in attendance from across the globe.
With almost 500 exhibitors, 15,000 attendees and smaller events surrounding the conference, All Energy Australia was a fantastic platform to showcase some of the recent work completed by our Power Infrastructure Division on some of Queensland’s largest BESS and Extra High Voltage connections projects, in addition to our strategic partnership with OCU Group. As always, we could talk to our experience on some of Australia and New Zealand’s largest and most complex wind, solar and hybrid projects from the New Energy team.
Alongside our good mates Bam Bam Pile Driving, AEC co-hosted sundowners on the Yarra for over 100 industry guests. With just standing room left at the venue due to overwhelming support from industry, our Happy Hour continued well after the sun went down on Day One of the conference.
